Mithilesh Chaturvedi: Be it the web-series ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ or the Bollywood films ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Satya’, ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Mohalla Assi’ and ‘Krrish’, the audience loved these films. Appreciated, their characters got equal amount of love. There is one common thing in all these films, that is Mithilesh Chaturvedi. Even though he played small characters on the big screen, his acting was such that he brought life to even these small characters. Let us know about some unheard aspects related to him.
Left government job and became an actor
Mithilesh Chaturvedi was born on 11 October 1954 in Lucknow, the capital of UP. He received his early education from Lucknow and after that he turned to theatre. After working in theater for many years, he turned towards TV serials and films. Very few people know that he left the government job and entered the field of acting.
Mithilesh Chaturvedi won the hearts of people with his performance in the TV show ‘Neeli Chhatri Wale’ in the 90s. After this, he entered Bollywood with the film ‘Bhai-Bhai’ released in 1997. The very next year i.e. in 1998, he appeared in Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Satya’. However, he got recognition in the film industry with Rakesh Roshan’s film ‘Koi…Mil Gaya’.
Later he did ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, ‘Krrish’, ‘Halla Bol’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, ‘Ready’, ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, ‘Mohalla Assi’, ‘Taal’, ‘Fiza’, Made headlines by playing different characters in ‘Ashoka the Great’, ‘Road’, ‘Gandhi My Father’, ‘My Friend’, ‘Arjun Patiala’ and web-series ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’.
Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away in 2022
Mithilesh Chaturvedi also had other projects, but he could not complete their shooting and he died in Lucknow on 3rd August in the year 2022. Talking about Mithilesh’s family, he has three children, two daughters and a son.
